About Rebecca

About Rebecca

Rebecca is a warm and empathic psychologist who has experience providing assessment and evidence based treatment to adolescents, adults and couples. She has worked across several settings including private practice, not for profit organisations and the public health system. Rebecca has also delivered group programs to adolescents, adults and parents.

Rebecca is particularly passionate about working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal challenges, grief and loss, stress related issues and couples counselling. She focuses on providing highly individualised treatment strategies that help meet her clients’ needs.

Rebecca wasn't always in psychology. She started out her working life in technology and project management before pursuing psychology full time. She was heavily involved in the creation and research evaluation of a pioneering suicide prevention app. She continues to incorporate technology into the therapeutic experience where possible and you'll often find her recommending a relevant app or two.

Rebecca has completed 6 years of psychological training, a 4-year undergraduate degree and honours program at the University of Sydney, and a 2-year clinical masters program at the University of Wollongong.

Rebecca sees adults and couples at our Alexandria practice.
