About Bee
About Bee
Bee is a compassionate and dedicated clinical psychologist who works with adults, adolescents and couples to utilise their own unique strengths while learning new skills to improve their wellbeing, resilience and overall quality of life. She has worked across a variety of settings including hospital inpatient and outpatient units, community mental health services, university clinics and in private practice.
Bee specialises in the psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment of a wide range of presentations experienced by adolescents and adults, including the psychological aspects of cancer (e.g., adjustment difficulties, fear of recurrence and meaning-making), depression, anxiety/stress, trauma, and difficulties related to self-esteem and managing emotions.
Bee trained in New Zealand, completing a four-year Bachelor of Arts Degree, with First Class Honours, a two-years Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Ph.D. Originally from the multicultural society of Malaysia, Bee speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and enjoys working with people and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Bee is passionate about tailoring treatment to match client needs.
Bee sees adolescents, adults and couples at our Alexandria practice.
