Sarah Moritz
Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar
Meet Sarah
Sarah is a warm, empathetic, and insightful psychologist who brings a thoughtful, client-centred approach to therapy. With a background in law and over a decade in professional services, she understands the complexities of navigating high-pressure environments and major life transitions.
Sarah is passionate about helping clients build self-awareness, resilience, and effective coping strategies. She values therapy as a collaborative process – one that empowers individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in a safe, non-judgmental space. She integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while drawing on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy techniques to support clients in meaningful and lasting change.
With experience in psychological assessment and therapy across diverse settings – including public health, community mental health, a psycho-oncology centre and a university clinic – Sarah works with adults and older adolescents (16+) facing a wide range of mental health concerns.
Sarah’s clients appreciate her genuine curiosity about their experiences and her ability to create a supportive, reflective space where they can process challenges, develop new skills, and move towards the life they want.
