About Sally

Sally is a clinical psychologist with over 10 years experience working in the field of psychology. She works to create a collaborative relationship with her clients based on trust and mutual respect. Her hope is that clients feel supported, listened to and understood. Sally strives to assist her clients to compassionately explore and understand their past and current challenges, while supporting their progress towards their personal goals.

Sally's previous clinical positions have included working in public mental health and sub-acute and rehabilitation facilities, as well as private practice. She has published research on the characteristics of mental health recovery model implementation in the Journal of Mental Health Training, Education and Practice (2018). In addition to her work at myLife Psychologists, Sally is employed as a clinical psychologist at Macquarie Hospital and the forensic psychiatric unit, where she treats adolescents and adults with a range of psychological disorders.

Sally has training and experience in delivering evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, among other psychotherapeutic frameworks.
