Meet Nicole

Nicole is a warm and compassionate psychologist with extensive experience working across public and private mental health services in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and now in Australia. She brings a thoughtful, structured approach to therapy, helping clients make sense of complex difficulties and work toward meaningful change based on their individual needs and goals.

Nicole draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Schema Therapy. She integrates these approaches flexibly, depending on the client’s presentation, preferences, and stage of treatment, with the aim of supporting meaningful and sustained change.

Nicole has a particular interest in working with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD). She previously worked in a specialist OCD and BDD service in London, where she gained experience delivering both individual and group-based interventions. Across her career, Nicole has worked in community older adult hospital teams, acute hospital services, private practice, and specialist services.

She has experience supporting people with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, panic, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), stress and burnout, low self-esteem, perfectionism, bipolar disorder management, emotion regulation difficulties, and adjustment to challenging life changes.

Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and being near the beach.
