Having trained at India’s leading mental health institute, Mohan’s worked in medical college hospitals as well as private practice settings with clients across the lifespan, addressing a wide range of mental health issues.  He’s passionate about assisting individuals with longstanding mental health challenges, including personality disorders, self-harm, chronic depression and anxiety conditions. In addition, he has advanced certification in couple and family therapy, primarily using Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and systemic approaches. He is also multilingual, and is able to provide therapy in English as well as two Indian languages (Kannada and Hindi).

In addition to his clinical work, Mohan has is deeply involved in gender and sexuality research, focusing on the mental health needs of the LGBTQ+ community. He has drafted guidelines for working with transgender and gender diverse clients seeking affirmative medical and surgical treatments, and he actively contributes to professional training programs, sharing his knowledge and expertise with fellow mental health professionals.
