Jaden Terranova
Provisional Psychologist
Meet Jaden
Jaden takes a thoughtful, down-to-earth approach to therapy. He helps clients make sense of the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, while gently challenging unhelpful ways of coping. He works alongside clients to clarify their goals, build insight, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful change beyond the therapy room. His style is compassionate and authentic, offering a calm space where clients can reflect, grow, and move forward with greater confidence.
Jaden works collaboratively, tailoring therapy to each person’s goals, values, and life context. He draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and integrates techniques from other modalities to provide flexible, individualised care. His sessions are structured yet responsive, with a focus on building skills, increasing insight, and strengthening emotional regulation and coping over time.
Jaden has experience working across youth, adult, and community mental health settings, including Rivendell Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Service, St George Adult Community Mental Health Service, and the University of New South Wales Psychology Clinic. He supports adults and older adolescents (16+) experiencing anxiety-related difficulties (including generalised anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive behaviours), low mood and depression, emotion regulation challenges, stress and burnout, and adjustment difficulties.
Outside of work, Jaden enjoys playing sport, attending live music, spending time with friends and family, and hanging out with his pets.
