Meet India

India completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in London and brings over ten years of experience supporting individuals, young people, and families across both community and inpatient settings in the UK and Australia. In her work, she is warm and collaborative, placing a strong emphasis on building genuine, trusting relationships with the people she supports. Through this foundation, she helps clients find pathways forward that lead to meaningful, lasting change, while also recognising and strengthening the internal resources they already possess.

Drawing on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, India integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Systemic Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside DBT-informed strategies where helpful. Importantly, her approach remains flexible and responsive, adapting to each individual’s needs and what feels most useful in the moment.

She has experience working with a broad range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and emotional regulation difficulties. In particular, she has a strong interest in relational and attachment-based trauma, as well as addiction. During her doctoral training, she completed a 12-month specialist drug and alcohol placement, where she supported recovery through a strengths-based and relational lens.

Originally from the UK, India now enjoys embracing Sydney’s outdoor lifestyle. Outside of work, she values connection and finds joy in sharing food with friends, getting immersed in a great book, and engaging in sport, appreciating the sense of community it fosters.
