Meet Alex

Before becoming a psychologist, Alex spent more than five years working in professional services as a Chartered Accountant. This experience gives him a genuine understanding of the pressures many people face in demanding careers, including perfectionism, burnout, workplace stress and the challenge of balancing achievement with wellbeing.

Alex brings this real-world perspective to therapy, combining warmth and empathy with a practical, action-oriented approach. He believes that while insight is an important foundation, lasting change comes from putting that insight into practice. Working collaboratively with clients, Alex helps them identify the patterns keeping them stuck before developing realistic, evidence-based strategies to create meaningful and sustainable change.

Alex has worked across psychiatric hospitals, private practice, medical centres, anxiety support groups and mentoring programs, supporting people with a broad range of mental health concerns. He tailors therapy to each client’s individual goals, strengths and circumstances, creating a supportive space where clients feel understood while building the confidence and skills to move forward.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys playing and coaching touch football, spending time with friends over board games, and searching for Sydney’s best Japanese restaurants.
