Meet Jessie

Jessie is a warm and approachable psychologist who understands that seeking therapy can feel daunting, and she meets each client with empathy, warmth, and respect – wherever they are in their journey. She works collaboratively with her clients to explore their concerns, identify their strengths, and support them in achieving meaningful goals that align with their values and individual needs.

Jessie has experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across public health and university clinic settings. She has facilitated DBT and CBT groups in a public hospital and provided individual therapy for a wide range of concerns, including depression, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism), personality vulnerabilities, trauma, and relationship difficulties. She has also supported families of children aged 3 to 12 in a tertiary-level inpatient service, assisting with behavioural, emotional, and social challenges. Her therapeutic style is person-centred and strengths-based, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Outside the therapy room, Jessie enjoys karaoke, spending time with friends and family, long walks, swimming laps, and reading. She’s always open to new experiences – especially when they involve travelling or trying new cuisines.
